In memory of Bryn Owen for Sue Ryder St. John's hospice in Moggerhanger

Story

Bryn was never a fan of flowers and doesn't want any at his funeral so if you did want to contribute, he is asking for donations in his memory to either Cancer Research UK (to finally kick cancer's arse) or to Sue Ryder St. John's hospice.

He fought incredibly hard for so long and always made sure that everyone else was okay. He was such a strong, optimistic guy with such hope and a real zest for making the most of our lives together.

The staff at Sue Ryder St. John's hospice were amazing: they made sure that Bryn stayed comfortable throughout his short time there and treated him with dignity and respect. They also asked about him and his life - they really care about the people they look after. Also, they made sure that all of his visitors were well looked after too.

We found out whilst we were there that they receive 60% of their funding through the government, but the other 40% has to be raised from other means.

I will never forget the care they showed to Bryn and I know it was the absolute best place for him to be at that time.

Thank you.

Maxine
